Aloha,
I’ll keep today’s post short and sweet! I made these monthly Onesies (R) as a baby shower gift for a friend of mine and then did some more for my own little guy and thought I’d share the printable here with you.
The hardest part about this project is finding enough Onesies in the right sizes without breaking the bank. They usually come in packs of 4-6, and I had a hard time finding the sizes I needed. Ugh! I think I ended up paying about $22, and I had a couple left over. Different brands have different sizes, too, so I think I had a pack of 3-6 month that I used for months 4-6 and then a 3-9 month that I used for 7-9.
Aren’t they cute?!
I like giving practical packaging instead of the standard gift bags. I bought this little bin at Dollar Tree and lined it with tissue paper. Then I folded each of the sides in on each Onesie and rolled them up, so the month was showing. I actually put the bigger months on the bottom and months 1-6 on the top.
I’d love to hear or see pics if you decide to make these. Please comment or share a pic on my Facebook page if you do.
Aloha,
Charlie

Thanks, Rebecca!
LOVE!!! I want to do this for my bubs!
I'd love to hear if you do end up making them. 🙂
Thanks for visiting!
Great idea for a shower gift! Thanks!
Thank you. I always get that last-minute nervousness when I make something crafty as a shower gift, but this one was a hit! 😉

This is so, so cute! Thanks for the printable. I had a suggestion for not breaking the bank for Onesies, and so you don't have to guess what size the baby will be 🙂 At Michael's, I found printable fabric that has a repositionable/removable sticker backing on it. It's in the area with the iron-on transfers. That way, you can just buy 1 onesie in each size, and Mom can stick it on at whatever size the baby is that month (I reused the same onesie for 2-3 months in a row)! Hope that helps!
Sweet! I've never heard of it. I'll have to check it out!
Aloha,
Charlie
I found printing stickers to be easier/better so I didn't have to guess sizes a year ahead!! My 15 month old is already easily wearing a 2T, she is super long!
I thought of stickers right after writing this post. lol I'll probably do that for the rest of the months with my little guy. 🙂

Charlie

So cute! Thank you.
Do we need to flip the image?
It depends on your printer. I mentioned in the post that mine has an option for iron-on transfers, so it flips it automatically. Please make sure you test before wasting a sheet of your transfer paper! 🙂
Aloha,
Charlie
What kind of printer do you have? I'm in the market for a good one for projects like this and have trouble deciding.
Hi, Carmen! It's a Canon MX870 printer/copier/scanner/fax. 🙂
